 Welcome to the fun-tastic world of KHYC’s most vibrant and fun-loving fleet.
Our members combine their love of boating experiences with their enjoyment of meeting, greeting and yarn-spinning with fellow boaters. Our membership is of all ages from the most senior in KHYC, to the newest member signed on. We have several sail-boaters in our midst. Our meetings and parties are a great way to grow your circle of friends in the Club. A willingness to participate is all it takes.
Our annual events include:

Spring Cruise, often North to Santa Barbara, and out to the islands, or South to Newport, (sometimes San Diego) with stopping points in between

Fall Cruise, recently through the LA harbor complex, with Yacht Club visits en route. A new tradition of a land cruise to the Colorado River in October has attracted a loyal following.

St. Patrick’s Day party for the whole club, with the famous Chef Team of Hamilton and Bevan, serving corned beef, cabbage, and green beer to the masses.

Our installation dinner in December, where new leaders are roasted gently, basted with laughter and humor.
Our meetings are on the 4th Tuesday of each month, with attitude correction at 5:30, dinner at 6:30, and meeting at 7PM. Our dinners, amazing pot luck extravaganzas, are famous throughout the Club. Come for a visit, stay for the times of your life. |
