KHYC Fishing Fleet established in 1988. Since then has become one on the largest and most active fleets. We are referred to as the fun fleet among members. Main goal of the fleet is to bring people together that enjoy fishing, diving and socializing. Some of our events include:

Taking underprivileged kids fishing

Opening Day Fish Tacos
(we prepare fresh tacos)

Mako Shark Fishing Tournament
(fund raiser for our kid fishing days)

Fishing Fleet Luau
(Biggest event of the year at KHYC)

Tuna trip Charter out of San Diego 4 days

Baja Trailer Boat Bonanza
(10 day caravan deep into Baja to fish and dive)

Exchange trips to other fishing clubs
(Whakatani New Zealand was the big one)

Meetings are scheduled the first Monday of every month social 6:30 meeting 7:00 pm , top deck at KHYC. Everyone men & women are welcome; you do not have to have a boat or even a fishing rod, just a desire to have fun and get involved. Contact any of the officers for more info.

Cost for an annual membership is $20 for KHYC members and $40 for non-members.
