The Emeritus Fleet became an official Fleet within the last 10 years.  As the original older members increasingly retired and came down to the Club on Thursdays for an informal brown bag lunch they felt the numbers growing enough to make a difference.  They organized and became a group that continues to meet on Thursdays for those lunches, but now they have a Captain and plan field trips, cruises and assist with Club Special Events.  They are a key to providing assistance with docking, removing the docks for the Winter months and many other activities at the Club.
