The Catalina fleet is primarily intended for those with interest in the popular sailing sloops manufactured by Catalina Yachts in nearby Woodland Hills, CA. Sailors of these fine vessels are invited the second Tuesday of every month to share stories, activities and tips for the Catalina owner, as well as other sailing makes. In the Catalina Fleet, all are welcome! Our monthly meetings kick off with a bountiful pot luck dinner, so bring your favorite dish to share with your fellow sailors and join in the fun.
Fleet activities for this year will include a trip to Catalina Island, a cruise to the Del Rey Yacht Club for brunch in May and the Cabrillo Yacht Club for dinner this summer. Just prior to our meetings in June, July and August; we will once again invite all those interested in joining us for a sunset cruise aboard various fleet members’ Catalina’s. We also hope to take a tour of the Catalina Yacht factory in Woodland Hills as well as arrange a possible fall cruise to Santa Barbra.
